PAPAL VISIT UPDATE: About Monday
We understand that the Philadelphia Public Schools announced yesterday that they have added Monday, September 28 to the closure days for the district schools due to the papal visit. We are continuing to make every effort to keep PIC open on Monday.
Our decision will be dependent upon the public transportation operating schedule as we need to assure that our staff can get to PIC. Currently there is significant confusion as to what transportation routes will be operating and what will not.
We will continue to keep you updated on the changing situation and will inform our families of any schedule change on Monday as soon as we can.
If we are open on Monday, our After School Center will be open for the full day. If we have a delayed opening, our Early Learning and After School programs will open at 10:00 am.
It would be VERY helpful if you would let your child’s teachers know today or tomorrow if your child will NOT be at PIC on Monday.
