Enrollment FAQs
When should I apply?
We accept applications throughout the year and decisions are made in early spring for summer and fall enrollment. Our enrollment period is generally between June through October. Learn more about our enrollment process.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes, the wait list is generally 12-18 months for all age groups, but a child's age, race, gender, number of days a family needs care, and when a child is ready to start may impact the availability of an opening at our Center. Currently enrolled families and staff children are given priority enrollment.
What are the tuition rates?
Our tuition rates vary by age group and schedule preference. Please see our full list of rates on our Tuition & Affordability page.
How do I submit my application?
We encourage you to apply online (see links below). If you need a printed application form, please send an e-mail to Enrollment Coordinator Morgan Jimenez at mjimenez@parentinfantcenter.org.
Paper applications may be dropped in our Enrollment Mail Box located outside the Sweet Building on PIC's campus, e-mailed to Morgan Jimenez, or mailed to PIC at 4205 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Is there an application fee?
A $35 application fee must be submitted with your application in order for it to be processed. Families applying for PIC's Pre-K Counts program do not need to include an application fee. Learn more here.
What happens after I submit my application?
Once the Enrollment Office has your application and $35 application fee, you will receive a confirmation email from the Enrollment Office.
How do I schedule a tour?
The Enrollment Office gives in-person tours weekly. Read how to schedule a tour on our Applications and Enrollment page.
What happens after the tour?
After your tour, we recommend that you check in with the Enrollment Coordinator once every 2 months. You may call 215-222-5480 and ask to be added to the Enrollment check-in list. We will make a note of your continued interest and your application will remain active.
