Winter Happy Hour was Swinging!
Last week's PIC Parent Happy Hour was a "swinging" good time! An enthusiastic and fun group of parents turned out for the event, which included a special swing dance lesson given by PIC parents Anna Kashina and Dawei Dong (David is in the Fireflies and daughter Diana is a PIC alumna).
The steps were easy to follow, especially for some of the beginners out there. According to one guest, "Dawei and Anna really broke it down for us. I'm sure everybody walked away having learned something!
We enjoyed meeting families who are "new-ish" to PIC and seeing some familiar faces. We look forward to some more family social events to come.
Special thanks to everyone who helped make this a great time from the set-up and nametags, to the music and cleanup. And a big round of applause and gratitude for Anna and Dawei for the fantastic dance lesson!
