What Does PIC's Plant Sale Support?
Each year, money raised by the PIC Plant Sale is used for our tuition assistance program, which helps those families at PIC who do not qualify for child care subsidies due to household income, but who cannot afford full tuition at PIC.
PIC celebrates and values diversity and is committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome. Socio-economic diversity is a part of what makes PIC such a vibrant community of families.
Last year's fundraising efforts helped 35 families with the cost of child care.
Even if you you aren't planting a garden this year, you can still help support tuition assistance at PIC. Both our paper orders forms, and our online store give an opportunity to make a dollar donation for tuition assistance.
PIC’s Tuition Assistance Program is supported by our spring Plant Sale and fall ArtStart events. We appreciate every family’s involvement in these events so that more children can get the quality care that every child deserves.
