PIC Kindergarten Playdate Success!
We had a great Kindergarten Playdate yesterday when families with children heading to kindergarten in the fall got together at PIC.
We welcomed about 20 families, which was combination of PIC families and families from the community. Everyone brought snacks to share as they mixed and mingled.
In addition to families meeting families, there were representatives from multiple neighborhood schools, including Lee, Powell, Greenfield and Penn Alexander.
We thank all the members of PIC's Parent Involvement Committee for organizing this annual event and getting the word out to the community.
Kindergarten is an important next step in a child's education and we are happy to support families as they prepare for the school year ahead.
