Help Make Music at PIC!

This summer, PIC will make a wonderful West Philly venue for sharing music with our neighbors! All PIC parents, staff, and alumni are invited to be involved in planning, and even performing, at this fun event.

Make Music Philly 2014 will take place on June 21, 2014.

Make Music Philly is a city-wide, free, “do-it-yourself” festival held in celebration of World Music Day, a global celebration that takes place on the summer solstice each year. This day-long event features concerts, big and small, throughout the city--all over, all day, all free!

2013 was the first time Philadelphia joined with over 500 other cites world-wide to celebrate music with strong support from WXPN and the city of Philadelphia.

If you have ideas, talents, and/or time to offer, please email Communications Manager Rachel Isaacson.

This year, the organizers at Make Music Philly have launched the You Make Music Philly Kickstarter Campaign. The campaign goal is $20,000 and will pay for t-shirts, banners, print materials and paid advertising for the city-wide festival. The campaign ends on Friday, April 11th and needs our help!
