Calling all PIC Families

A Call-to-Action for PIC Families

At the city, state and national levels, early childhood education is the language everyone is now speaking. For PIC, this presents a time of great opportunity.

In addition to the interest in our field, this is a time of significant investment by both private and public funding streams. At PIC, we want to continue to show the same leadership in the field that we have been part of for the past 38 years.

We have always been committed to increasing diversity on every level, and most recently we have been able to increase socio-economic diversity through the expansion of our Pre-K Counts program.

Under new administrations at the city and state level, new funding may become available to do more and PIC wants to be a part of these exciting changes in Early Childhood Education.

Thus, this year is a Call-to-Action for PIC families to join us as we delve deeper in conversations about the future growth and direction of PIC.

Please come to our Get Involved 2016! event on Wednesday, February 24 from 5:30-7:00 pm.  You will have the chance to learn about PIC’s Board of Directors, our active board committees, and to be part of these next-step conversations.

Complimentary childcare will be provided (with advance notice to Preschool Program Coordinator Tamara Clark) and 2 hours of PPP time will be given to each participant.

PIC has been and will continue to be a great place for children and families to flourish. It has always been a place where the voices of those in our community can be heard. We invite you to lend your voice.

If you have any questions or you cannot make this event but you would like to be part of the conversation, please send me an email, give me a call, or just stop by my office.

Thank you for entrusting your children in our care.
