Come to the Children's Book Festival

The Diversity Committee's first annual Children’s Book Festival will be held January 29, 2017 from 3 - 5 pm in PIC's Small Gym (Spruce).

Designed to create and nurture a culture of literacy, this free, public event will celebrate diversity and a love of reading. With an all-star lineup of readers, we will have a wonderful story time, live music, a book swap, and arts and crafts with our friends from the University City Arts League (UCAL).

Light refreshments will be provided. PIC attendees who bring a snack to share will earn PPP hours.

The committee is asking PIC families to donate new and gently-used books for children at the festival to take home. Look for collection boxes in the entrances of both buidings and in the Small Gym.
