Celebrating Fall Was Fun!

Raking at the PIC Fall Family Festival

Our first Fall Family Festival was fantastic! With a perfectly crisp autumn day and plenty of blue skies and sunshine overhead, we could not have asked for anything more.

We had a great turnout of parents, grandparents, and caregivers who came to explore the variety of activities with their little ones.

There was something for all ages: tunnels for infants to crawl through, multi-colored pasta and pumpkin insides for small hands to feel (and squish!), collages and fall-folliage crowns to create, apples to taste, music to dance to, bubbles to blow, leaves to rake, and so much more.

The event took place on the Magic Circle Nature Playground, where pots and other metal objects were strung onto the stage. Children enthusiastically explored rhythms and sound by banging with wooden sticks.

Children wore t-shirts that they had created in their classrooms specially for the festival and enjoyed ginger snaps and cider with their guests.

Thank you to our teachers for their creative efforts with the activities and to everyone who joined us. PIC's first Fall Family Festival a HUGE success!
