PIC Spring Plant Sale online store is open for business!

Browse the store for a great selection of houseplants, container plants, and pre-planted pots. There are plenty of choices for inside and out. We also have many new varieties of perennials, annuals and herbs!

Pre-sale campaign: March 21- April 15

We accept orders online and on old-school style paper order forms for the month prior to the Plant Sale. Buy in advance for the best selection and choice color combinations.

It is the pre-sale campaign that truly drives the success of the Plant Sale. Families across PIC are asked to reach out to their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers during this period.

PIC families can earn PPP hours by selling plants. NEW THIS YEAR: Earn 3 hours of PPP for selling $100 worth of plants! Earn an additional hour for ever $20 over $100 that you sell. Ask your "customers" to list you as the "seller" online or on a paper order form so you and your child's classroom get credit!

Classrooms that achieve 100% participation will receive a prize to enhance learning in their classrooms. During this pre-sale period, the seed of friendly competition is planted throughout PIC. Classrooms will band together and to try and have every family and teacher submit at least one pre-order.

There are also prizes for our top two individual sellers! In addition to getting hours of PPP, the top seller will win a large planter from Terrain. Our second place seller will receive a $25 gift card to The Dandelion, a STARR restuarant in Center City.

It's not all about the plants! What???? It's true. Even if your friends, family members, and co-workers don't have green thumbs, you can still ask that they support the sale. Raffle tickets are just $1 and this year's prize is a $100 gift certificate to Talula's Garden, fine seasonal-inspired fare in Washington Square.

Sale Days/Order pick-ups: April 29 and 30

The weekend before Mother's Day is the actual Plant Sale. Come to the chapel next to PIC (42nd and Spruce Streets) on Friday, April 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to pick up advance orders and make last minute purchases!

On Friday, Greensgrow Farms will be at the Sale. On Saturday, Bennett Compost will be there selling soil and compost, and PAWS will be there from noon-2:00 pm.

On Plant Sale Saturday, we will take a moment to pay tribute to Cindy Roberts, PIC former Executive Director who passed away in February. More details will be announced closer to the Plant Sale.

Event proceeds go to PIC's Tuition Assistance Fund, so that more families can have access to high-quality early childhood education and after school programming.

Help Us Spread the Word!

This is a PIC fundraiser! Please share the link to the store with your family, neighbors, friends and co-workers so they can have first pick of this year’s selection, too.
