Think Spring and PIC Plant Sale

Blanket Flower
Even though we have just finished shoveling up after Storm Jonas, PIC is already thinking about spring and our annual Plant Sale, which will be held on April 29 and 30!

The Spring Plant Sale is a time when our entire community -- families, alumni, staff, and friends -- comes together to support families at PIC. Event proceeds benefit PIC's Tuition Assistance Fund, which eases the burden that the high cost of quality early childhood education and afterschool programming places on many PIC families.

The tradition continues this year with a new selection of houseplants, annuals, perennials, and herbs. The sale is truly a West Philly event!

Come to the first organizational meeting on Thursday, February 11, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm to find out more about volunteering! We will meet in the Parent Resource Room on the 2nd floor of the Spruce Building by the Rainbows classroom. Snacks will be provided!

Getting involved in fundraising at PIC is a great opportunity to meet other parents and teachers, and to earn some PPP! We need folks to help select plants for the sale, publicize our fundraiser, and coordinate volunteers and happenings on sale days. There is a task for every talent and schedule. Swing by at any point during the meeting.

If you can’t make the meeting, you can still be a part of this great tradition! Email Karen Stachelek, PIC's Development Manager, with any questions you may have or stop by her office in the Spruce Building.
