Thanks UC Green!
PIC wants to thank our friends at UC Green and their fabulous UC Green Corps greening maintenance crew who have been caring for our new Magic Circle nature playground.
Twice a week these hardworking folks brave the heat to help our plants stay watered and keep them green. They spend several hours watering the grass, shrubs, and flowers, pulling weeds, and working the soil to ensure proper water absorption, which is essential on these very hot days!
UC Green Corps greening maintenance program offers employment, environmental education, and leadership training for young people and adults. We are grateful for their support this summer.
