Plant Sale Committee Gets To Work

At last night's Plant Sale meeting, the committee got to work! Event co-chairs, Marni Fogelson-Teel and Jill Shashaty welcomed a group of enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to start planning this fundraiser, which will raise money for PIC's the tuition assistance program.

The Committee's first order of business will be to select the hundreds of annuals, perennials, fruit, veggies, and hanging baskets that will be featured this year. We look forward to seeing what they come up with!

This year, the Plant Sale will kick off with a Garden Party on Thursday, March 13 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Enjoy some light refreshments while previewing this year's plant selection.  There will be several "green thumb" volunteers on hand to answer any questions you may have about plants and the growing conditions that help them thrive.

The Garden Party marks the official launch of the Plant Sale's month-long pre-sale campaign. The entire PIC Community—families, alumni, friends, and staff will get involved. Classrooms will band together in an effort to get 100% of families and teachers to make at least one Plant Sale purchase or sale. Everyone will reach out to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to support this great cause.

For now mark your calendar for the Garden Party and look for more information to come soon!
