Next on the Tot Lot
On Saturday, we had a great team of PIC dads come out to help install bamboo fencing around the edge of Tot Lot. Of course, in addition to our lasting gratitude, they earned some valuable PPP hours!
What's Next on the Tot Lot?
Upgrades to the Tot Lot will continue in phases. Look for a mud box, a sand box, and a shade structure to be added soon. Plus, as soon as the weather cools a little further, trees will be planted.
Our goal is to offer our youngest learners a more natural outdoor playspace that will give them more opportunity for discovery. We did, however, intentionally leave open space along the fence on Locust Street. We know that watching trucks, cars, people, dogs, etc. go by are among the most exciting aspects of being an urban campus.
