Give Back on #GivingTuesday

On Tuesday, November 29th, PIC is taking part in #GIVINGTUESDAY, a day set aside to give and give back.

On #GivingTuesday, gifts to PIC will help us as we continue on a journey to give more families who qualify for government subsidy access to high quality child care at PIC.

"Give back" on #GivingTuesday

Spend time reading to children. While you are welcome in the classroom any time, let’s make this a special day to “give back” (and earn some PPP!) Bring a favorite book or choose one from the class collection. Earn an hour of PPP, even if you can’t stay that long! Talk to your teachers if you are interested.

Social media will drive our success

Do you post or tweet? Are you all into Instagram? Tap into your own social network. Tell them about PIC and the importance of all children benefiting from quality early learning.

Last year over 700,000 people in the world took part in #GivingTuesday, raising over $116 million dollars for their favorite charities and the things that are most important to them.

Let your friends and family know how important PIC is in your life! Please share with your family members, friends and social networks the news of PIC's participation in #GivingTuesday. We will be posting on Facebook throughout #GivingTuesday. Every comment, share and “like” helps!

Our goal is to raise over $3,000 and every donation helps. A gift of any size can become so much more when many people work together for a common cause.

Your gift on November 29 will help two-fold.

In addition to helping PIC grow, you will become an advocate for more children to have the opportunity for quality early learning experiences.

In addition to your gift, we will send a letter to Mayor Jim Kenney on your behalf, thanking him for his continued push to keep QUALITY at the center of his cry for expanded access to early childhood education in our city.

I'm ready to give to PIC today!
