As I begin my tenure as the new Executive Director of this wonderful community, I am brimming with both excitement and a deep sense of responsibility. PIC is more than a childcare center where children spend their days; it is a vibrant community institution where partnership is the cornerstone of its success. 

During my transition, I had the privilege of working closely with Deb Green, whose leadership embodied PIC’s foundational value of partnership. Witnessing Deb in action was truly inspiring. Her approach was rooted in genuine connection, listening, understanding perspectives, and working together to find solutions.

Building upon Deb's admirable foundation, my vision for PIC is centered on shared purpose and collaboration. I believe in the power of teamwork and inclusivity, where every member—staff, families, children, and community partners—plays a vital role in our journey.

Partnership is central to our mission. From committed room parents who keep our community informed, to compassionate teachers and administration who cultivate nurturing environments that ignite curiosity and foster discovery, and dedicated committee members who tackle crucial issues, collaboration is the mainspring behind all our efforts. Together, we embrace diversity of thought and collective action, ensuring that every aspect of PIC thrives and every child receives the support and inspiration they need to flourish..

As we take this journey together, I continue to invite each of you to share your insights, dreams, and aspirations. Let us continue to build a future where every member of the community feels empowered to leverage their voice, talent and unique skills to create an environment where each child blossoms, supported by a collaborative spirit that celebrates diversity and fosters lifelong learning .

With partnership and a shared vision, there are no bounds to what we can achieve. I am humbled to be part of this dedicated community and eagerly anticipate the extraordinary accomplishments we will achieve together for the children and families we are privileged to serve.
