Clothing Drive
Supporting families in our community has long been a value strongly held at PIC. Recently, Fireflies teacher Joanne Schock was contacted by staff from Lacey Community Care for assistance.
In the past, PIC families have donated coats to this group through the One Warm Coat initiative. Now Lacey is in need of children's clothing and PIC families are digging into their closets for ways to help our neighbors.
According to Joanne, one PIC family has already made a large donation, dropping several bags of gently-used clothes directly to Lacey Community Care in West Philadelphia.
We will be collecting all sizes of children's clothing through August 22. Collection bins are located in the Sweet and Spruce Buildings.
