ArtStart 2017 is for ALL kids!
Vote YES for Kids! is this year’s theme of our annual fall auction fundraiser!
As early childhood education remains in the national spotlight, this is an important time to strongly advocate for policies that will positively impact the future of today’s children and their families.
2017 ArtStart co-chairs Angela Curry (Finbarr-After School Center and Desmond-Peanut) and Jennifer Healey (Karoline-PIC alumn) are planning this event to do just that!
They are looking for a few more committee members in order to put together a wonderful fundraiser! Whether you can help solicit items, can help out closer to the event, or know a potential sponsor, please let them know of your interest!
This year, ArtStart will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19 in the beautiful historic chapel next to PIC.
Together we will celebrate the impact of high quality early learning and after school programming with a diverse exhibition of children’s art. Friends, alumni, and families will gather to enjoy a silent auction, wonderful food and refreshments, and of course, great company.
All proceeds from ArtStart are dedicated to our tuition assistance program, which helps familes at PIC who struggle with the cost of care.
PIC envisions a world where all young children, regardless of income or zip code, have access to high-quality learning experiences. And, where children from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic levels learn side by side and gain respect for differences from a young age.
This year, you can Vote YES for Kids and help more families gain access to high quality child care, and more importantly experience a level of care that will have a real impact on a child’s success as they continue on in school and navigate the world.
