As 2016 winds down, it is a great time to celebrate many recent achievements made by PIC staff. In addition to earning bachelors and masters degrees, PIC staff have been making contributions to conferences, curriculum-based books, and early education associations.

Help us congratulate:

Wild Things Assistant Teacher Kristy Carter completed her master's degree in education/special education with a concentration in autism spectrum disorder from St. Joseph's University.
 
Fireflies Lead Teacher Joann Schock completed her bachelor's degree in Early Education from Chestnut Hill College.
 
Doodlebugs Lead Teacher Monica Williams earned her bachelelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern College.
 
Fireflies Assistant Teacher Michael Roach presented at Arcadia University's Safe and Welcoming Schools conference in the fall at Arcadia University. His talk was titled, Gender-Less: How Early Childhood Teachers Can Create Spaces that Welcome Gender Diversity.
 
Teachers Joann Schock, Jacob Kerner, Michael Roach, and Executive Director Deb Green have been accepted to present workshops at the upcoming conference of the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) in March. 
 
Deb Green has also been appointed to the DVAEYC Board of Directors
 
Preschool Program Coordinator Tamara Clark has contributed to a recently published book entitled, Creative Block Play by Rosanne Regan Hansel.
