Annual Picnic and Meeting at Smith Playground!
All PIC families are invited to join us at Smith Memorial Playground in Fairmount Park on Thursday, May 28 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. PIC will provide sandwiches and drinks and we ask families to bring side dishes and desserts (and earn a PPP hour for your effort.) The playground is reserved that evening just for PIC.
This year, the event will also serve as our PIC Annual Meeting and as such, we will have the slate of new board members available to vote on (this process is part of our PIC board by-laws.) Via the e-News, we will send the bios of the new board members in advance of the gathering at Smith. We will set up a spot at the entrance to the playground where families can vote on the slate.
This is a terrific opportunity for our families to meet and chat with another on the incredible grounds of Smith Playground. Please contact Alison if you need transportation as we can either arrange car pooling or use our PIC van for transportation.
