Infant/Young Toddler Assistant Teacher

We are seeking energetic, qualified candidates for an Assistant Teacher position in our Early Learning Program.

The Assistant Teacher is responsible for creating an inviting, stimulating and safe learning environment. Duties include assisting with creating a curriculum that is based in a solid understanding of child development, PIC’s philosophy, and the state and national learning standards.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for family interaction, as well as for building a collaborative relationship with a teaching team.

The teacher is a vital part of the PIC community, and there are duties beyond the classroom, including professional development and community events.

Candidate must have an Associate's degree in ECE or related field and 2 years experience. Familiarity with emergent curriculum and the Reggio Emilia approach a plus. Do you have a CDA and looking to further your degree?  We have an opportunity for you!
