After School Teacher

Children in PIC's afterschool program seek a fun-loving, highly responsible, caring teacher who embraces cooperative and playful methods of learning.

Are you outgoing, responsive, empathetic and happy to share your talents with children who are experiencing their golden years of childhood? If you like playing outdoors, building mud castles, enacting puppet shows, drawing unicorn cats or glinty-eyed monsters, reading aloud, taking nature walks, flying a kite, or designing exploding volcanoes with baking soda, vinegar and food dye, then you may be the teacher we yearn for in our after-school hours.

Bring your experience in early-childhood teaching to a thriving group of five- to nine-year olds. Become part of a dedicated community of teachers and families who maintain the highest standards of out-of-school-time care while honoring playtime, outdoor time, and spirited game time and, yes, even homework time that is fun and enriching.

Please email your cover letter and resume to School Age Program Coordinator Manny Harris at mharris@parentinfantcenter.org. No phone calls or drop-ins please. Resumes will NOT be accepted without a personalized cover letter addressed to PIC.
