Small Gym Rental Changes

With the arrival of a new fiscal year, PIC is changing some of the terms of its Small Gym weekend rental.

Starting July 2023, the new cost to rent the Small Gym will be $175 for 3 to 4 hours. Secondly, we will only be scheduling one party per day. A $50 deposit will still be required to reserve the space when you complete the rental form. Additionally, families will still be responsible for paying a staff member to be on site during the event at a rate of $25/hr.

Due to an increase in the Small Gym being left quite dirty after weekend parties, we have made some adjustments. Please note that PIC is not like other rental spaces in that we do not have a cleaning crew that comes in after a rental event, so we rent the space with the expectation that families clean-up after themselves including putting away all tables, chairs and toys; taking all trash and recycling to the dumpsters; and making sure the floors are clean enough for babies to play in the space on the following Monday. PIC provides a broom, mop and a vacuum to assist in cleaning the floors, as well as several different cleaning products.

Staff members are expected to help in so far as they show you where all the cleaning materials are and they will put in new trash bags to the cans after you take out the trash. Please make sure to let the staff member working your event or PIC's Operations Manager, Julie Wesenberg, know if there was anything broken or damaged during your event.
