Salila Gautam Acharya

Salila Gautam Achary loves working with young children and finds their curiosity and excitement while learning to be incredibly rewarding. She chose to work at the Parent Infant Center because of its commitment to high-quality early childhood education in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Salila has four years experience of working in a Montessori school in Nepal. She also worked with infants and toddlers at a childcare center in Alberta, Canada  for a year and a half . 

Salila grew up in Nepal and moved to the states from Canada with her family. She now lives in West Philly.

When not at PIC, Salila enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with family. She has two children and is passionate about early childhood education. She is dedicated to creating a positive impact on children's development.
