Melissa Hollinger

Melissa Hollinger comes to PIC with a lot of experience working with young children. She has taught kindergarten for 14 years - in Mechanicsburg School District and in Center City Philadelphia.

She began working at PIC in the summer of 2023 and is happy to return in 2024. Melissa is happy to be returning this summer. She feels welcomed by staff, families, and children and that it is a wonderful atmosphere here at PIC.

Melissa feels that kids have the best ideas! She finds that they have a passion for learning and are excited about life, and they bring such joyful, positive energy. She loves to be a part of that!

Melissa grew up in Manheim, Lancaster County. She currently lives in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia. When not at PIC she likes to read novels and comics, cosplay, hike, listen to podcasts, and spend time with family and friends. She is constantly seeking new things to learn.

She also has a Boston terrier named Gatsby who loves treats and has energy for days.
