WSFS gives children a chance

PIC is thrilled to announce the recent $10,000 award from WSFS Bank through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

The funding provides tuition assistance support, which allows families to give their children a high quality start at PIC. Scholarships at PIC help families stretch their modest incomes to better afford the preschool program. Simply put WSFS is giving more children the chance to be at PIC.

"We are grateful to WSFS bank for believing in the power of early education and the difference it can make in the lives of young children. Through the EITC program, WSFS is using its tax responsibility to provide more families the financial support they need to give their children the high quality learning experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong success," said PIC Executive Director Jamila Carter.

WSFS has come in as PIC's first PA EITC partner. They are utilizing the program to turn their tax liability into opportunities for children.
