Watermelon Wednesday 2026 Photos

This past week we held Watermelon Wednesday where families gathered on the blacktop for a refreshing summer treat. In addition to spending time together, we made a concerted effort to compost our rinds. Bennett Compost was on hand sharing about the benefits of composting. They provided information about reducing waste sent to landfills and creating healthy soil for our gardens. The composting table at Watermelon Wednesday was sponsored by the PIC Outreach and Advocacy Committee.
