PPP: Help with Day of Play

Updated 3/13/20: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 Day of Play has been cancelled. More information about any community events and gatherings will be communicated as it becomes available.

Help coordinate our 4th annual Day of Play. Held this year on April 25, this is a FREE nature-infused, outdoor play day for the whole community filled with art and music activities.

You can:

  • Help spread the word - tell your friends, post on social media and hang flyers.
We want more West Philadelphia families to come!
  • Be an Activity Leader or Assistant - come play!
Do you have a talent for art or music? Do you have a love of nature or gardening?
We play from 11am – 1pm! Stay for as long as you can or as little as 30 minutes!
  • Help with Volunteer coordination
Enlist day-of volunteers to be activity table leaders, read and tell stories, setup and cleanup.
  • Coordinate community/business involvement
We've had PAWS, Greensgrow, the Free Library's Read by 4th program, and food trucks
  • Coordinate children's music group performance
This year will feature Alex Mitnick!

To get involved, contact Karen Stachelek, Development Manager at kstachelek@parentinfantcenter.org.
