Plant Sale Days 2015

Our plant sale days were beautiful and brought out families, community members and alumni to St. Andrews Chapel.

This year’s Plant Sale raised $32,000! All of the proceeds of the fundraiser go to the tuition assistance fund.

The fund has been helping more families have access to quality early childhood education for nearly 30 years. Your efforts in the sale support this fund and help strengthen PIC’s diversity and sense of community.

The sale would not be possible without the volunteer efforts of our families, staff and alumni. So many of you helped with unloading deliveries, filling orders, carrying orders, and helping the customers who came out to the sale. We also enjoyed help from Reed Tech and Beneficial Bank’s Blue-Gooders. A special thanks is due to our volunteer committee who have worked on the sale since January. Marni Fogelson-Teel and Lisa Weidman were co-chairs, with Denise Brice, Mary Maier, Vicky Olsen, Reena Rai, Romit Shahani, Palak Singhee, Jill Shashaty, and Erin & Christian Ticehurst.

Many alumni came back and chatted about their days here while community members enjoyed the annual opportunity to take part in PIC’s plant sale and to admire the chapel, taking pictures and wandering the aisle. Director Deb Green toured the playground and buildings with alumni parents and their children throughout the morning on Saturday.

We thank everyone who participated in this year’s Plant Sale for making it a wonderful event!
