Goodbye to Summer Campers

PIC summer camp girls

It has been a wonderful summer at PIC! This summer, we welcomed 115 children to five dynamic sessions filled with sports, multicultural experiences, water play, performance, creative writing, and STEM learning.

The summer was also jam packed with wonderful field trips to places like the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, the Wissahickon, Sister Cities Park, Penn Museum, Philadephia Museum of Art, Independence Seaport Museum, Bartram's Garden, Morris Arboretum, Penn's Biopond, Institute of Contemporary Art, Franklin Institute, and more!

While not out experiencing all that a camp in an urban setting has to offer, the campers spent time at the pool, enjoyed a cookout, paraded with drummers from Artwell, and put on a Gala performance highlighting their creative talents.

We thank all of our summer camp staff, the campers, and their families for creating this wonderful camp community!

We know we will see many of campers in PIC's After School Center this fall, and we hope to see the rest of our camp friends next summer!
