BBD Volunteers Spruce Up PIC

PIC is so grateful to have been a part of BBD, LLP's Week of Service! We want to especially thank Courtney, Ian, Tim, Kim, Marissa, Mark, Tory, Sara, Sarah, Joe, and Tom for lending us their hands. 

This enthusiastic team took on tasks we had talked about getting done but, like most nonprofits, never have the time or people power to make it happen. They helped make much needed improvements to our Spruce Building.>

Our attic was completely cleaned out, the floors were primed and painted, and shelving units now hold toys for imaginative play, aquariums, puzzles, tool kits, and microscopes. Our school age program's Kanga Room has a fresh coat of paint, which is a big help as we are in the midst of getting ready for Summer Camp!

Corporate volunteer teams have become major sources for support for many nonprofits, and we are always happy to welcome them. If you have a team that is looking for a project, contact Development Manager Karen Stachelek.
