Applause for the 2026 Grads

May is a month of graduations, and this year we celebrate six PIC teachers and an administrator for the completion of their degrees.

Congratulations to (from top left, clockwise) Chandara Devo who earned her master's degree in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania; Regina Johnson who earned her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Community College of Philadelphia, Janyhra Rutledge who graduated from Empire Beauty School and earned her Cosmetologist License; Leah Lafferty who earned her master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Eastern University; Ryan Walter who earned his master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Early Childhood from Eastern University; and Mimi Pantothlet who earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Eastern University.

We applaud these graduates. It takes commitment, sacrifice, and determination to earn a degree, all while working full time. We commend all of our staff members who continue to work towards their degrees and pursue credentials! It is through them that we continue the level of excellence that is the hallmark of PIC.
