Nina Wojtowicz

I am excited to join the Hummingbirds as the next step in my professional teaching career. In the past fifteen years, I have taught in both public and independent school settings. While I began my career as a third grade teacher, I have mostly served as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Coordinator in Pre-K through 5th grade classrooms.

Working with the 3 to 5 year old group enables me to tap into the sheer wonder that children experience when exploring the world, asking questions, and working to seek new ideas.

As much as I can, I spend my time reading or hiking, gardening, or just taking walks. My daughter is 2 years old and is a jungle gym afficionado. Along with my husband, we are often out and about in West Philly
