Mohena Grimaud
I like working with young children and watching them experience new things each day.
My name is Mohena and I am from France. I recently moved to Philadelphia to follow my husband, a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. I hold Masters in Education at Angers (49) and Sociology at Paris Descartes (75).
I am passionate about childhood and alternative teaching methods (i.e. the ideas of Célestin Freinet, Maria Montessori and Loris Malaguzzi). In France I worked in different leisure centers, nurseries, preschools, schools and families. I like to sing with children and make the times of daily life funny and creative.
I like working with young children and watching them experience new things each day. I like working at PIC because of the diverse community and the program's value on nature-based play.
During my free time I like to do hiking, jogging, arts, cook, garden, visit new places, take pictures, and meet people.
