Lead Teacher

I believe that with love, unity and compassion, communities can thrive.

Manny is the Lead Teacher in the Chipmunks, a part-day, mixed-age (3-5 year old) classroom.

Manny moved to Philadelphia in 2015 to embark on a new journey in life. He was graced with the opportunity to work with some of the best children in North Philadelphia, and this motivated him to take courses in Early Childhood Education.

In 2018, he obtained his Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Community College of Philadelphia. He is currently enrolled in Arcadia University in the Program for Working Professionals to obtain his bachelor's degree and Pre K-4 Certification.

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Manny’s passion for young children started at an early age as he was the oldest of his brothers and sisters which developed his nurturing and loving spirit.

He is very pleased to be a part of the PIC family. His goal is to spread social and emotional awareness, and create a warm and loving learning environment for children to flourish.

When Manny is not at PIC he is either laughing, writing, playing music, chillin at a park, or spending time with family in Washington D.C., spreading positivity and fellowshipping with friends.
