School Age Program Coordinator

I believe that with love, unity and compassion, communities can thrive.

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Manny’s passion for young children started at an early age as the oldest of his brothers and sisters, which developed his nurturing and loving spirit.

Manny moved to Philadelphia in 2015 to embark on a new journey in life. He was graced with the opportunity to work with some of the best children in North Philadelphia, and this motivated him to take courses towards his associates degree in Early Childhood Education.

In 2018 after completing his summer practicum here at PIC he knew that this position would be a great opportunity for both him and the children. That same year he obtained his Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Community College of Philadelphia. In 2021 he received his bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Arcadia University and in 2022 he received PA Teaching Certification from Pre-k to 4th grade. This is his fifth year at PIC.

He is very pleased to be a part of the PIC family. His goal is to spread social and emotional awareness and create a warm loving learning environment for children to flourish.

When Manny is not at PIC he is either laughing, writing, playing music, chillin at a park, or spending time with family. spreading positivity and fellowshipping with friends.
