Christel Ürményházi

What motivates me is the hope that I am influencing the future.

PIC’s focus on developing strong relationships with children and families inspires Christel’s teaching practices. Christel is a past recipient of the Terri Lynne Lokoff National Child Care Award, which honors 50 early learning teachers annually for their commitment and dedication to the children they serve.

Christel hopes to be able to continue the annual Roadrunners camping excursions and hikes throughout the year to introduce Roadrunner families to new natural places and to share a love of the outdoors. Christel strongly believes in affirming children's feelings, no matter how challenging to others. Christel values providing experiences to children that help expand their scope of possibilities and develop their self concept.
