Tamika Barrow
It has been a blessing to see my daughter grow and thrive as part of the PIC community.
Tamika Barrow is a lifelong educator, starting as an elementary school teacher in New York City, literacy coaching K-8, and teaching graduate courses in teacher educational programs. Currently she works as an Executive Coach supporting school principals/directors in being better instructional leaders.
Tamika lives footsteps from PIC. It has been a blessing to see her daughter grow and thrive as part of the PIC community.
She facilitates PIC's playgroup weekly, serves as Room Parent, and lends a hand annually with planning the Day of Play. This has been a great opportunity to build relationships with teachers, staff and other families at PIC.
When not lending a hand at PIC or coaching in schools, Tamika also supports families as a birth and postpartum doula. She looks forward to working with the Board and advocating for all families to be able to access the excellent education her daughter has received at PIC.
