I am passionate and committed to ensuring that early learning programs are successful and equitable.

Matthew Closter is a Senior Consultant at Equal Measure, a nonprofit evaluation and consulting firm working with national foundations and nonprofits on college access and cradle to career pipeline grant making programs.

Matthew has extensive experience in community development, fundraising, and educational exchange programs, having worked for local, national, and international organizations, including Rutgers-Camden, the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, AFS Intercultural Programs, the Institute of International Education, and Amigos de las Americas.

He lives in West Philly with his wife, daughter, and son, who are enrolled in PIC's early learning program. He loves enjoying sunny days in his neighborhood, reading, running, hiking, traveling, following the news, and enjoying the city.

Matthew currently co-chairs the Development Committee of the PIC Board and is passionate and committed to ensuring that early learning programs are successful and equitable.
