Through the generosity of individuals, corporations, local businesses and foundations, we support a range of high-quality, community-based child care and family-centered programs.

Each October we celebrate creativity and community with ArtStart, which brings together parents, staff, alumni, and friends to enjoy a wonderful exhibition of children's art, food and cocktails, silent auction bidding, and fun to help raise funds for tuition assistance, programs, and major initiatives.

ArtStart 2018

On October 18, more than 200 guests celebrated 40 years of PIC by joining in an evening of 70's fun! Many guests left claiming this year to be the best ArtStart yet!

The evening was filled with friends, food & drink, children’s art, and silent auction bidding. Guests embraced the theme by coming in the grooviest 70s attire.

This year was a great success, raising over $50,000 to support children at PIC whose families are unable to afford full tuition.

Established by parents in 1986, today, PIC's tuition assistance program:
  • awards grants to families whose income is less than 300% of the federal poverty level.
  • offsets the cost of tuition for children of PIC teachers and staff
  • closes the funding gap that exists between government subsidy and the true cost of care for early learning and school-age children.
