Lila Rivas

Alexandra (Lila) Rivas brings over 10 years of experience in child development, after-school programming, and team leadership to PIC. 

She has her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Citrus College and her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from California State University. Lila is also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). 

Originally from Philadelphia, she recently moved back from California, where she dedicated her career to enriching the lives of children as the Assistant Director for the YMCA of Greater Long Beach. 

Ms. Lila’s journey began in preschool, where she worked closely with special education, she then transitioned into after-school education, igniting her lifelong commitment to nurturing children from all backgrounds and abilities.

In her spare time Ms. Lila enjoys traveling, walking her puppy, hiking and going to the beach.
