Through the generosity of individuals, corporations, local businesses and foundations, we support a range of high-quality, community-based child care and family-centered programs.

Be a Volunteer

At PIC, we welcome community and corporate volunteers to help with fundraising events, facilitate Playgroups,  provide “muscle” on center-wide work days, or serve on Board committees. For information on upcoming opportunties, email Amanda Schroeder, PIC’s Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator

High school or college students who wish to arrange for community service credits or internships should email Amanda Schroeder, PIC’s Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator.

Our After School Center special interest clubs welcome volunteers with skills to share such as coaching sports or chess, teaching music or foreign languages, or offering general homework help. Contact ASC Director Anjali Gallup-Diaz if you have a skill to share with children in grades K-6.

Classroom volunteers must pass criminal and child abuse background checks.
