Two Announcements for ArtStart

First Auction item in! Last year, for the first time, ArtStart's silent auction went online, and we are doing the same this year. Having the auction online allows more people to participate in ArtStart, and lets you participate where and when it is convenient for you. The ArtStart silent auction always has unique and special prizes up for bidding. 

We have already received an original piece of artwork by the award-winning Philadelphia potter, Janet Lowe. She had a 35 year career with her own private studio, was a resident artist at The Clay Studio, and displayed her work at the Smithsonian Museum Craft Show. PIC has received a signed coiled, decorated pottery vessel for our auction.

We have another Returning Sponsor! PIC welcomes back Bentley Systems as a Program Sponsor for this year's fundraising event.
Business sponsorships have grown over the last 5 years to comprise over 25% of our revenue/donations at ArtStart. This is an incredible boost from the Philadelphia business community in supporting high quality early childhood education for all families, regardless of zip code; it also always us to keep our base ticket prices low so all families who wish to be a part of ArtStart can be.
