Faith Purnell

Faith Purnell joins the After School Center as a Kindergarten Lead Teacher. She also works as an Early Learning Flex teachers where she helps in classrooms where coverage is needed.

She is pursuing a degree in Physiology and most recently worked as an afterschool teacher guiding children as they built intricate Lego structures with Play-Well TEKnologies.

Through her work with children, Faith wants to make a safe and open environment so kids from all backgrounds feel they belong and can express themselves.

Faith lives in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. She is married and has a 4-year-old son. When not at PIC, she spends time with family and takes time to relax. She loves to be on the top of a mountain in the Poconos with her snowboard looking up at the sky.
