Infant/Young Toddler Lead Teacher

We are seeking energetic, qualified candidates for a lead teacher position in our high quality Early Learning Program. Responsible for creating an inviting, stimulating and safe learning environment. Duties include creating a curriculum that is based on a solid understanding of child development, PIC’s philosophy, and the state and national learning standards.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for family interaction, as well as for building a collaborative relationship with your teaching team.

The teacher is a vital part of the PIC community, and there are duties beyond the classroom, including professional development and community events.

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in ECE or related field and 2 years experience. Familiarity with emergent curriculum and the Reggio Emilia approach a plus.
