I am inspired to work with young children because I know that I will have an impact on their future.
Charlene (Charlie) Cobb returns to PIC. She previously worked in our school-age program, and also completed observations in the Bumblebee classroom as part of her coursework in Early Childhood Education.
For the last six years, Charlie has worked at various child care centers where she gained experience working with young infants and toddlers. She is excited about returning to PIC.
What Charlie likes most about working with young children is being a part of their development and watching them use the skills they have learned every day.
Charlie is happy to return to PIC. She loves how PIC has always stuck to its values. She appreciates the connections it maintains with the community, and how it has evolved into a nature-based center.
Charlie lives in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, which is where she grew up. When not at PIC she likes to spend time with family and friends. She also likes to craft and watch sci-fi movies with her cats.
